Neil Gutlay
Neil Gutlay is a Filipino American, Georgia native, and 2025 Emory University graduate with his Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Biostatistics. During his time at Emory, he was co-president of the Rollins Asian Pacific Islander and Desi Association, graduate chair and later graduate director of Emory FSA, and served on other leadership boards within the Rollins School of Public Health such as the Rollins Student Government Association. As graduate director of Emory FSA, he organized events that linked Filipino graduate public health students, staff, and faculty to undergraduate students. He is also a founding band member of P-Noise alongside Nereca Capuno. Currently, Neil is actively involved in volunteering in many Filipino community events such as the Bayanihan Festival and with Filipino communities such as the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Georgia. He is an aspiring physician scientist with hopes of bridging the worlds of public health and medicine together and is a research assistant specializing in qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Besides volunteering and research, he occupies his time with playing video games.
