NIcole Diaz

Nicole Diaz is a recent master’s graduate from Georgia State University, earning her degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Healthcare Informatics. She completed her undergraduate degree in Integrated Health Sciences at Kennesaw State University in 2022. While at Kennesaw State, Nicole was actively involved with the university’s FSA, performing in two culture shows and serving on the committee board, where she helped manage Philanthropic efforts in supporting communities in the Philippines with the PUSO foundation.

When Georgia State’s FSA was reintroduced, Nicole eagerly stepped in to support its growth and strengthen connections with other FSAs across the state. She continues to visit FSAs throughout Georgia, volunteering at culture shows and attending general body meetings to deepen her connection to her Filipino heritage. Nicole is honored to be a part of the first cohort in FLAN’s Fil-Grad ceremony. She encourages her fellow batchmates to stay connected and be more involved within the Fil-Am community. As a co-founder, she seeks to foster an empowering and supportive space that honors both the old and new generations of FilAms.
