Tiffany Garnace

Tiffany Garnace (she/siya) is a Georgia native who earned her BS in Psychology and BA in Anthropology from the University of Georgia (UGA) in 2018. Currently, Tiffany lives in Atlanta, GA, with her cat Bibingka.

In her previous roles, she worked as a community organizer for a local nonprofit in Atlanta, focusing on advocacy during the Stop Asian Hate movement, especially after the Atlanta Spa Shootings in 2021, and increasing civic engagement among AAPI, refugee, and immigrant communities, particularly during the 2020 Presidential and 2021 Senate Runoff Elections.

Her additional experience includes leadership and membership within Filipino community organizations, such as being an alumnus of UGA FSA, NaFFAA, EYPC, Malaya Movement, and an inaugural cohort member of the IMPACT! Fellowship with USAI and the Philippine Embassy in DC. She was also a union organizer, drawing her organizing framework from the history of Larry Itliong and the United Farmworkers Movement.

In early 2025, Tiffany was one of nine Asian American and Pacific Islander women nationally accepted into the Civic Impact Fellowship and Incubator Program hosted by the Asian American Women’s Political Initiative (AAWPI) after proposing a social change project to support young Filipinos in Georgia. With the AAWPI grant, she and her co-founders launched the Filipino Leadership Alumni Network (FLAN).
